The Sales Edit: Beauty Bay

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5

Ok this as it's the last day of 2012 this is my last Sales Edit post before things really start to get under way in the New Year - 2013 how exciting! I hope you like my post and have the best NYE ever! Happy New Year!

1. Tangle Teezer Compact Styler Feline Groovy - £10.79 (was £11.99)
I have the full size Tangle Teezer in black, pretty boring but I like to think of it as sleek... However carrying it round in my handbag is a bit of an issue as I worry about the bristles snapping and also my bag isn't the tidiest so it can tend to get a bit dirty at times which is a bit gross. This travel size compact will be perfect for chucking in my bag without having to worry, and the pattern is a bit of an upgrade from my plain original.

2. Emma Hardie Natural Lift & Sculpt Anti-Ageing Facial Starter Kit - £24.00 (was £32)
Everyone is loving a bit of Emma at the moment but if, like me, you're not too sure which of her amazing products to go for then going for her starter kit makes sounds like a good place to start, and with £8 off you simply might as well treat yourself! The kit contains some of her best selling products, letting you cleanse, tone and moisturise your skin back to optimum health for the new year.

3. Neom Christmas Wish Candle 380g - £35.70 (was £42)
Christmas is sadly well and truly over but that doesn't mean we can't burn Neom's Christmas candle all year long and with three wicks and 380g of candle to burn this is sure to last a good while! I absolutely love this luxury organic brand - I bought my mum the body moisturiser for her birthday and obviously I had to try it too! I love that it is organic but feels so luxurious, this candle is definitely on my sales list.

4. Ole Henriksen Truth To Go Wipes - £4.74 (was £6)
I know it's naughty to use face wipes but sometimes I really can't help myself, after a night out, after a long day or simply when I just can't be bothered face wipes are my saviour! I always feel a little bit better about myself when I use a slightly higher end brand though, as if it's not so bad after all. Ole Henriksen's wipes go above and beyond the call of duty, removing make up and grime, of course, but also nourishing skin with essential fatty acids and Vitamin C to smoothe, brighten and tighten your skin texture. Not bad for a humble face wipe.

5. Leighton Denny Colour & Go Manicure Pen I Love Juicy - £9.90 (was £11)
I find myself constantly on the go at the moment, on trains, buses, in the car it's literally non stop and can wreak havoc with my nails and also gives me limited time to paint them in the first place. This Leighton Denny manicure pen caught my eye and looks like the answer to my troubles; with one end as a base/top coat and 'I love juicy' at the other end, this is perfect for those quick touch ups or paint jobs on the go.

So, there ends my last post of the year (and one of my first on this blog!) Have a fabulous night tonight and see you in 2013!

The Sales Edit: Feel Unique

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5

1. Glam Glow Mud Mask 50ml - £34.99 (was £49.99)
Glam Glow has been the object of my affection, no obsession since it was first brought to my attention whilst interning at Harper's Bazaar. Containing French Sea Clay (fancy) and Volcanic Minerals (ooh) it is the cult product amongst Hollywood's elite, claiming to give you a glowing complexion in just 10 minutes! Now the £50 price tag has been slashed to £34.99 I am definitely giving this one a go, if it's good enough for Natalie Portman...
N.B if you still aren't sure about forking out for this, you can try a sample for a snip at £4.99 here.

2. L'Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes Mascara - £8.79 (was £10.99)
Though this doesn't have all that much money off, every little really does help so it is still going into my Feel Unique Sales Edit. I really don't know what else to say about this mascara apart from I LOVE IT. My boyfriend bought this for me for my birthday last year (I love imagining him picking it out all by himself - so cute) and ever since I have been addicted, stocking up whenever it is on sale. No other mascara has come close in terms of volume, although maybe length... but that's for another blog post altogether...

3. Caudalie Beauty Elixir 100ml - £25.60 (was £32)
The ultimate multi-purpose product inspired by Hungarian royalty, Caudalie's Beauty Elixir is a bit of a wonder product and is featured in this year's Bazaar Beauty Hot 100 - no mean feat! Use this when you wake up to freshen skin, as a base for your make up, to liven your complexion during the day (or after work before drinks) or as a solution on its own for radiant skin. This can also be used as an after shave - the perfect excuse to 'share' with your boyfriend, dad or brother!

4. Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Lipstick - £19.98 (was £23.50)
I fell in love with YSL lipsticks after my mum bought a coral one a few years ago, I can't remember the name now, probably because I was so distracted by THAT packaging. Isn't it amazing?! I don't even think I care what colour this is, I'm going to buy it for the packaging alone, although the colour is pretty gorgeous too I must admit. I absolutely love YSL lipsticks, the texture, the creaminess they are simply the epitome of luxury, and I want one. Now!

 5. bareMinerals Prime Time Foundation Primer 30ml - £14.25 (was £19)
I got this last year, in the Feel Unique sale as it happens, as I'd received the bareMinerals starter kit for Christmas (loved it) with a tiny sample of the primer and I knew I had to have it. Though the bottle looks mini, a tiny drop of primer goes a long way and feels... just incredible I could apply it to my face all day, simply the best primer I've ever tried. I'm wanting to put some on now as I type this! Anyway, back to the point, I'll be stocking up this year, and I may even try the brightening one to see how that compares. I love bareMinerals in general but this is definitely their must-have product.

Feel Unique 'the destination for beauty' - never a truer word spoken, and with free delivery you really cannot go wrong!

The Sales Edit: Space NK

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5

This is the first in a succession of Sales Edits I have put together, my favourite items from my favourite stores.  I hope you like it and, as always, let me know what you think!

1. Revive Day To Night Renewal Kit - £102.50 (was £205)
Okay so this Revive kit is STILL very pricey and a bit of a dream/unattainable product for me personally but... well it is half price so it has definitely earned its place in my Space NK Sales Edit! Comprising of Defensif Renewal Serum, Sensitif Cellular Repair Cream and Moisturising Renewal Cream, the set is designed specifically to help skin regain luminosity, radiance and renewal aiding the 'dewy glow of youth'. Perfect for winter skin, like mine, still in need of a boost.

2. Kevyn Aucoin Essential Eye Shadow Set Palette #5 - £22.00 (was £44)
Kevyn Aucoin is on every beauty blogger's lips at the moment (I'm still gagging to try his sculpting powder - review by my favourite blogger here) so of course I found a way to slot him into my Space NK Sales Edit, and at half price this palette is a great find. With a gorgeous range of subtle lilacs to deep purples this palette is suitable for all eye colours and any occasion, a product definitely making its way into my basket!

3. Dr Brandt Blueberry Water Booster - £15.00 (was £30)
I instantly trust any brand with "Dr" before it ESPECIALLY Dr Brandt, an American doctor who developed his skincare range after researching treatments for cancer (bit of trivia for you there.) As I intend on detoxing in the new year (we'll see how long that lasts!) this booster has been on my radar for a while now and there's no excuse now it's half price. With the same amount of antioxidant goodness as 15 cups of green tea in only one drop, this should be top of the list for everyone doing the dreaded detox in Jan!

4. Rodial Glam Balm Hand - £19.50 (was £39)
There's nothing I love more than having luxuriously soft hands, and people telling me how soft they are (weird I know) but it means I'm constantly on the hunt for new hand creams to pop into my handbag and this one from Rodial sounds ideal. Described as 'innovative' Glam Balm Hand simultaneously repairs imperfections, moisturises skin and protects hands from environmental harm. This may be making its way into my collection very soon...

5. Chantecaille Real Skin Foundation SPF 30 £10.00 (was £50)
I am a recent, but now avid, fan of Chantecaille since using their Future Skin Foundation; though expensive, it is hands down the BEST foundation I have ever used - blog post coming soon. Therefore I may have to purchase their Real Skin Foundation whilst it's only a tenner... if anything just to check if their amazing future skin is just a fluke - well someone has to check! Space NK describe the product as a 'translucent gel foundation with a subtle dose of corrective colour' so it may be too light a coverage for me but, at £10, it's certainly worth a try!

What do you think of my top 5 Sales Products from Space NK, will you be trying any or do you have any others on your list?

The Warmest of Welcomes

Welcome to The Full Coverage and thanks for stopping by! This blog has been a long time coming and thanks to my lovely friend Louise it is now finally a reality, an early New Year's resolution which I truly intend to keep!

I am a recent graduate and a serious beauty addict with previous experience at Harper's Bazaar, NOW Magazine, Phestival and The Surrey Mirror and have been intending (and nagged!) to start a blog for years now so here it is.

I am so excited to get started and I do hope you enjoy it with me.
